    Chef Samuel Spencer 
    Samuel Spencer, Food Service Director / Culinary Arts Instructor at Guided Discoveries / CampChop. Previously Commercial Foods Instructor At Coastal Alabama Community College in Atmore Alabama . Chef Sam grew up in Mobile, AL and has been passionate about cooking his entire life. Chef Sam graduated first in his class at the Culinary Arts School at Bishop State in 2012 during which time he served as Class President and was named Outstanding Culinary Student of the Year. Chef Sam started his career as a fry cook at Kentucky Fried Chicken and quickly expanded his culinary experience by working as the Catering Coordinator and Assistant to the Sous Chef in the dietary department at Springhill Medical Center and then as Banquet Supervisor and Banquet Chef at The Battle House Hotel. In 2013, Chef Sam landed at The Admiral as a part time line cook but was quickly promoted to Sous Chef and then Executive Chef in 2014.
    Chef Sam is a Member of  the American Culinary Federation and has earned the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation’s Metro Mobile Chefs & Cooks Association and Gulf Coast Culinary Association - Pensacola Chapter. Chef Sam is most proud of his partnership with Chefs Move to Schools Association.
