I have been active in the food service industry for 39 years. In that time I have had the pleasure to work in multiple types of food service from fast food, to catering to fine dining. Since 2004 I have been involved in higher education as an instructor in culinary arts and food service management. Currently, teaching is my full time job and has been since 2011 when I joined Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. I remain active in the "culinary scene" by working on different professional development activities, and certifications, as well as providing private lessons/dinners/caterings for clients, and friends. I am an avid hunter and enjoy processing my own products from successful hunts.
