Bio

Chair, ACF Military Task Force. Retired Army officer, senior manager and executive in the private and public sectors, government, and politics. Currently directs a military-oriented non-profit, including oversight of a $1M banquet and conference business in our Capitol Hill, Washington, DC, property (Top of the Hill Banquet and Conference Center). August 2021 graduate of Stratford University associate of applied science in advanced culinary arts program. Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 3 sommelier certification, October 2021; Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory level 1, August 2023 (pursuing level 2 Certified Sommelier). Bronze medal, professional category (fish entree), in the March 19, 2022, ACF-sanctioned competition at Dorsey Culinary Academy, Detroit. Kansas City Barbeque Society competition BBQ judge. Exploring where I will use my training and interest in the culinary world; interested in turnarounds, coaching, entrepreneurship. Attended ACF in Orlando and in Las Vegas.
