Originally from the metro Detroit area, I left a teaching position in the Detroit Public Schools to relocate in northwest Michigan. My desire to teach the culinary arts led me to Northwestern Michigan College where I began as an adjunct instructor in the fall of 2000.
When I’m not consulting or cooking professionally, I enjoy cooking with family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, biking and billiards. I am happily married and enjoy interacting with my two adult daughters and our pet bird.
